By using this website and/or booking an appointment with Maxime Dawson at Homeopathy for Health, you agree to the terms and conditions listed below.

Your agreement of consultation will be directly with the homeopath. Please check you are happy with all of the details before you proceed with a consultation.

Homeopathy for Health with Maxime Dawson holds no liability.

Homeopathy alongside mainstream healthcare

Homeopathy can be used alongside allopathic mainstream medication, and other therapies. It is your responsibility to communicate with your health providers and inform them of all the treatments you receive and medications you are taking, where appropriate.

It is advised you continue with any treatment or medication you are currently taking, unless otherwise advised by your GP or doctor.

Emergency service

Homeopathy for Health cannot provide an emergency service. If you need emergency health care, please contact your Doctor or Emergency Services immediately.

Bookings

You must be over the age of 18 to use this service. If you are under 18 you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Your consent form will cover the entire course of treatment that you use at Homeopathy for Health.

You agree that you are undergoing homeopathic treatment of your own free will and were not coerced into treatment by me or any other party.

You confirm that you made an appointment in good faith and that you have the ability to accept or reject this care of your own free will, and that you are mentally competent to enter into this agreement.

You acknowledge that you are not representing an agency (private, governmental or otherwise) attempting to gather information incognito (i.e. you are not a reporter posing as a patient).

Homeopathy for Health operates from within Australia. If you are making a booking on this website’s online booking system, and you reside outside Australia, please allow for time zone differences.

You consent to the homeopath holding records and personal information/disclosures that include any information you send and disclosures you make during appointments (please also refer to my complete privacy policy here).

Cancelling and rescheduling appointments

Please allow as much notice as possible should you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment (preferably 24 hours), in order for me to be able to fill that slot with someone from my waiting list.

Cancellation refund is available if the appointment is cancelled at least 24-hours prior to the start time.

Payments

I prefer new clients to pre-pay for their initial first consultation.  Payments can be made in cash or via internet banking and I will send the client an invoice for payment before the consultation begins. With prior agreement, payment for existing clients is accepted at the time of booking, at the end of consultation or on invoice.

You understand the charges are to be paid on booking the consultation unless specific prior arrangements have been made or there is no charge.

Consultation fees will be charged in AUD. Please note: these are subject to exchange rates and exclude your card payment and transaction fees. Please settle payment on receipt of your invoice, unless otherwise discussed with me.

The consultation

The consultation will start and finish at the time indicated on your booking. If you arrive late at the meeting, this may cut short the time of your consult and will still be charged the full consultation rate.

You may choose between face-to-face, video or audio consultations.

Once you have booked a consultation at Homeopathy for Health with Maxime Dawson, you will receive a confirmation email which will include all the details for your appointment. For clients requesting online consultations, details of how to access the online meeting platform, and any links will be provided within the email.

In the event of failure to connect due to technical difficulties, I will reschedule your appointment at no further cost to you.

In certain circumstances I may ask you for additional information, such as any clinical test results you may have already had, in order to help me understand and assess your current health status and presenting condition.

I will ensure that any information you do send prior, during or after the consultation will be kept confidential and will not be shown to any outside parties unless I have your specific instructions to discuss your information with other health professionals (please also refer to my complete privacy policy here).

Photographs and video recordings

You may be asked for photographs so that I may see skin complaints. Please ensure that any photos or videos you send will not show nudity of private parts of the body of adults or children.

No video or audio recordings in any form will be made during consultation unless explicitly discussed beforehand and consented to by all parties.

Contact between consultations

I prefer communications to be via email between consultations. However, if the matter is urgent, please call my mobile and I will respond as soon as possible.

I will answer all emails within 24 hours of receiving them, unless marked urgent and then I will attend to them sooner. Typically I will respond to emails during working hours Mon – Fri between 9am- 5pm AUS time.

If you are a new client, I anticipate email communications at the start of treatment that involve questions and clarifications etc. while you become familiar with homeopathy and how it works.

I may ask for updates in-between consultations if needed, in order to support you and the treatment process.

If you initiate email contact between consultations that involves further assessment and/or remedy changes that requires more than a quick reply, I will charge an additional fee of $25 AUD per communication.

If you require speaking to me in person between consultations regarding your prescription or progress, please book a Homeopathic Review with me ($25 AUD) either by phone, email or the online booking system.

Prescriptions and remedies

I will send you a prescription for your homeopathic remedies and any further advice following our consultation. This information will include instructions on how to take the remedies and how to store them.

The homeopathic remedies will either be sent directly to you from one of the homeopathic pharmacies or I will send details where to purchase them, if required.

For face-to-face clients within Australia, I will be able to provide you with the homeopathic remedies during the consultation, unless they are out of stock and then I will have them sent to you from one of the homeopathic pharmacies.

Homeopathic remedies will incur an additional fee.

You may of course purchase the remedies from another supplier if you have access, or you may already have the remedies at home.

Confidentiality

At Homeopathy for Health, we value your privacy and take every measure to protect your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

I am required by law to keep a record of your consultation notes and information for an extended period of time. These notes will not be shared with anyone unless the law requires me to submit information for the protection of life.

Technology

With the use of internet, video calls, messenger, emails or telephone calls, every reasonable precaution possible will be taken to ensure the privacy of your information, but it cannot be guaranteed across these technologies.

These Terms and Conditions will be construed in accordance with and governed by the Laws of Equity and Tort Law.
