HP is based on homeopathic principles; the“minimal dose” and “like cures like“. It involves the use of homeopathically attenuated, disease-causing material made into remedies called nosodes. Nosodes contain only the original disease material; they are non-toxic, containing no adjuvants or preservatives. These nosode remedies are administered on lactose or sucrose pillules, which are taken orally.
